Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia Leah McCrary always knew she could sing. It just took a little bit of coaching and an introduction to the world of music, before everyone else would know it too. Welcomed into the true essence of music by spreading her wings in the church choir, she immediately took to the art. Leah excelled in music’s uninhibited expressions and infinite possibilities. Supported equally through attention and time by both of her parents, music became home to the girl whose resources were limited but whose dreams reached far beyond any limitations.
As Leah progressed in age so did her talent and her natural ability to take to the stage. Just as everything began to come together, she was hit hard by the tragic passing of her mother. Unable to be comforted, Leah returned to the one place were she could excel and release her frustrations, which was in her music. Even with a tribulation such as this, Leah stayed focused on her path to success and her dreams of singing professionally.
Fast-forward to present day and you’ll find a college songbird with the ability to express her feelings inside and out through colorful descriptions and words of conviction. You’ll also find a woman whose ability to dance to the beat of her own drum, which has effectively turned her into a triple threat and a force to be reckoned with.
Presently grinding her way into opportunity after opportunity, Leah has now effectively found her sound and a good launching point. Determined now, more than ever to carve her own niche in music and stay true to her individual self, Leah McCrary is exactly what the music industry has been missing. Currently working her new single “Versatile Love” in the clubs and on radio, it shouldn’t be long before everyone knows exactly who Leah McCrary is.
